During Your Visit
Please follow our Paddock Etiquette to help everyone enjoy their visit:
- Please do not arrive early for your session. If the car park is occupied or the field is in use, please wait outside the gate until it’s clear. Some dogs need space, so this is really important for everyone’s safety and comfort.
- Each session is 55 minutes long, with 50 minutes of playtime and 5 minutes at the end for you to gather your things, clean up after your dog(s), and leave the car park before the next booking. We kindly ask all visitors to stick to this schedule so that everyone can enjoy their time with exclusive use of the field. A smooth handover keeps things running happily for everyone!
- Please tidy up after your visit by picking up after your dog and returning any toys to the toybox. Some dogs can't safely have access to toys, so it's important everything is put back where it belongs.
If you're a dog walker, dog trainer or behaviourist, or you're planning to bring 10 or more dogs, please get in touch with us directly for our business rates.
You can contact us by emailing info@dog-paddocks.com or filling in our contact form on the 'Contact Us' page.
Safety & Security
At The Paddocks, we believe every dog deserves the chance to stretch their legs and have fun. We welcome all breeds, including exempted dogs, at our Duxford location. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept banned breeds at our Bassingbourn paddock.
For everyone’s safety, we kindly ask that you follow our banned breed procedure when visiting Duxford:
- Certificate of Exemption: Please send us a copy of your Certificate of Exemption when making your first booking. Once registered, you won’t need to provide it again.
- Arrival: Please ensure the car park gate is fully closed before getting out of your vehicle.
- Lead & Muzzle: Your dog must remain on a lead and muzzled from the car to the paddock.
- Entering the Paddock: Once inside and the paddock gate is securely latched, you may remove the muzzle and let your dog enjoy their session.
- Multiple Dogs: Up to 2 dogs can use the paddock together, but must all be from the same household.
Thank you for helping us keep The Paddocks safe and secure for everyone.
